Festival of Italian Motorcycles

The  Festival of Italian Motorcycles, held on the Melbourne Museum Plaza  since 2002, survived its postponement to November 29 and several heavy rain showers. An excellent showing of 325 Italian motorcycle resulted in a another successful day. Unfortunately as the person responsible for this site FORGOT to bring a camera you will have to take a squiz at the Museum's news item (see below) until a few photos are gathered and an effort made to update this website the 2009 event. A grovelling apology is offered by its "editor".  

 

The organising clubs Ducati, Laverda, Moto Guzzi, Moto Morini, MV Agusta  and the Classic Italian Motorcycle Association of Australia in conjunction with Melbourne Museum are pleased with the large turnout despite the rain and any confusion created by the event's postponement from the original October date.
